CLARK: "This is impossible! It's a million degrees in here!"

Wow...I love the colours. This is an excellent photo...very well taken.

That is a really great flower shot. The colors are wonderful. I like the border, but the upper right hand corner looks a little odd - I'm not sure that this is the best solution (but I'm also not sure what would be either...).
:iconcarbait:
wow.. i mean really wow... the colors in this shot are amazing.. the gold and orange hues on the flower petals are strikingly goregeous, and the way the piece is off center, really makes your eyes follow the center out to those beautiful colors.. i applaud you.. ! This is a spectacular piece! and as a side note.. i really like the idea you implemented here of making hte flower's petals overtake the border.. it really makes the flower pop out.

Don't settle for being someone else's slogan; you are poetry.

I have to agree I was not super happy with the top right corner as it does kind of look unfinished . . . but as you said I also have no idea what would be better. Ah well next time :D

Oh man - this is my fav of the new frame styles! Very sweet and tight focus and it really draws me in. Great frame.

Great, sharp colors with a nice contrast that isn't to overpowering yet gives a good effect. I like the way the petals go over the boarder. And what I think makes it more interesting then other pictures with parts going over boarders is that it goes over the top and the left, but not the right and bottom, giving it a more asymetrical feel. Origonal or not as an idea, it is a bit less seen for that particular trend in art. As for the flower itself; it seems in excellent condition. Yet it is not a perfect specimen, several petals have split slightly at the tips and one petal on the left have a couple diagonal dark marks which I'm guessing as creases of sorts in the petal. Those flaws, perhaps not immediatly noticed, give the flower more character then a perfect plant would have. Also, the flower being placed off center gives a nice effect to the overall feel of the work.

There are a couple parts I think subtract a bit fron the picture. First is the bottom boarder where the green background stops yet the petals continue further before being cut by the boarder. Had the green been extended to the boarder or the petals cut to match the green with re-adjustments to the flower placement I think it would look better. Why? Because a sharp line coherency with the right and bottom boarder would give more dramatic effect where as right now it is broken a bit, which may or may not have been your intention. Secondly, it may just be me, but I feel you signature is too loud. I was it was more seen but not heard in nature. Right now you eye is focused to the flower center and then drifts to the sharp white mark at times. If it was muted a bit, either by gray shading or tinting it in color to blend more with the flower color so it didn't draw so much attention. However this is subject to opinion as I'm such some want their signature to stand out from the peice where I try to blend it in when I can.

I'm a distraction.

i dont have to be apart of the club to make a decent comment!

yeah i dont think theres too much wrong with this...its so....like.....brilliant RED and stuff.
i dunno if that going over the border sits right with me, but i guess you get to
see more of the flower that way so it all works out.

ahh the beauty of all gods' creation...ahhhh

Thanks for the feedback I had received both of your comments about the signature and the bottom left corner border thing by some people that I knew . So I thought about it and I agree with your feedback and I thank you, the changes have finally been made (been out of the loop for far to long now).
